Waldos W33kend, presented By Dispensary 33The week-long celebrations celebrating cannabis culture and community will be hosted by, Waldos Forever Fest, a celebration on Clark Street in Andersonville, will lead the festivities from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd. It will feature live music, local food, education and fun for cannabis enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys a good time.
Additional festivities include several Waldos W33kend sponsored events in the city of Davis Theater on April 20, including Rollin’ With the Homies: Movie + Mixer at Davis Theater, Jokes For Stoners at Zanies Comedy Club and Stoner Trivia at Redline VR. There will also be a punk rock show at AliveOne and a comedy production debut at Annoyance Theatre called Spliff Laugh, Love. It will run for eight weeks. The week will be concluded with a Daytime 420 Concert with Dan DeaconCity Winery Chicago West Loop on Sunday April 24,
Waldos Forever Fest is open to both novice and experienced cannabis enthusiasts. It offers a fun, safe and welcoming environment for them to learn more about cannabis. The festival will feature headlining performances by Junglepussy, Sudan Archives, as well as Shea Coulee headlining drag performances and local eats. There will also be cannabis-forward vendors and cultivators and immersive activations.
After a 2-year-long pandemic break, the festival’s return marks Illinois’ first time that both recreational and medicinal consumers can enjoy the festival together. The Midwest’s first-ever and largest cannabis festival, Waldos forever Fest, was held in 2018. It has since become an annual celebration at the popular Chicago dispensary. Waldos Forever Fest brings together Chicago’s best in live entertainment, comedy, drag acts, local restaurants and more. It will also feature various sponsors and partners from across the city. Anyone over 21 is welcome to attend and admission is free with a suggested donation of $10. The fest prohibits cannabis consumption.
