Thanksgiving Day 2021 updates – Alignment of Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn to be visible in night sky as US celebrates

Every item on your Thanksgiving dinner menu will be more costly.

The higher prices are due to a combination of factors such as inflation, supply chain issues, labor shortages, and bad weather – just to name a few.

“I never seen anything like it, and I’ve been running sweet potatoes for 38 or 39 years,”Norman Brown, North Carolina farm director for sweet potato sales, shared his story The New York Times.

He said: “I don’t know what the answer is, but in the end it’s all going to get passed on to the consumer.”

Economists believe that higher turkey prices are due to the high cost of corn used in commercial turkey production.

Some places saw corn prices more than double between July 2020 & July 2021.

Due to the increased cost of baking ingredients, dinner rolls have become more expensive.

Canned cranberries are more expensive because domestic steel plants are still catching-up on production delays from the pandemic.
