THACKERVILLE, Okla. (KTEN) — A second man is now in custody in connection with the attempted robbery of a Thackerville medical marijuana dispensary that turned deadly last month.
Originally reported as a two person operation, authorities discovered that there was a third accomplice to the July 21 crime.
Austin Pate, 18, was arrested by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents in Calera on Wednesday evening. He is facing charges of murder, conspiracy, and robbery.
Clarence Hill (20 years old) was arrested several days later for the same charges.
The OSBI has not yet released the name and identity of the suspect shot and killed by the clerk at the dispensary.
