The final seconds of regulation were fought by signal-callers.
Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen from Baltimore were the stars of the show, but a Buffalo audience was also present.
The Bills defender was arguably the best play of the game. This allowed the

After knee surgery, Zach Wilson, Jets quarterback, made his 2022 season debut.
However, all eyes turned to Kenny Pickett (the Steelers’ rookie signal-caller), who took over for Mitch Trubisky in the second half.

These are the top takeaways of the early kickoffs.
Steelers Make Necessary Shift To Kenny Pickett In Loss to Jets

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost a 24-20 nail-biter against the New York Jets.
Make the right decision regarding their quarterback situation.
Halftime was down 10-6, but Mike Tomlin was fed up. Kenny Pickett replaced Mitch Trubisky as Steelers head coach for the third quarter. He completed seven of 13 passes for 84 yards, and also had an interception in the first 30 minutes.
Pickett added some much-needed energy by throwing an interception on the first pass. Pickett scored on consecutive drives with short goal line runs, but finished the game with two interceptions on Pittsburgh’s final two possessions.
Pickett completed 10 of 13 passes for 120 yards, and three interceptions in his first taste of regular season action.
Pickett experienced some issues with ball placement and his decision making, even though Jordan Whitehead, Lamarcus joyner and Michael Carter II were Jets’ defensive backs.
Maybe he could have thrown a better deep pass to Chase Claypool or thrown an away pass to avoid an intercept, but the Steelers moved it with him under center.
Despite Pickett’s rocky start, the Steelers offense is much more dynamic with Trubisky at center. They should have made this move a week ago.
Fantasy football managers should consider starting or picking up George Pickens, a rookie second-rounder, in the future. After his fellow rookie took over, Pickens started making big plays with consistency. He ended up with six receptions and 102 yards. In the coming weeks, we’ll be hearing a lot about the Pickett-to–Pickens connection.
Pittsburgh will experience some difficulties with its first-year signal caller. Pickett would have to face a tough challenge next week against the Buffalo Bills if he starts, but he has the potential to pull the offense from a rut.
The NFL’s Best Team, the Eagles Establish Themselves

The Philadelphia Eagles lost 14-0 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first quarter. But they rebounded with an offensive flurry scoring 29 points between the second quarter and fourth quarters.
It relied on its ground attack to overcome an early deficit.
Slow down the Jaguars
Miles Sanders ran for a career record 134 yards with two touchdowns as running back. Although Jalen Hurts, the Quarterback, didn’t have a great game throwing for 204 yards, and an interception, he was able to reach paydirt on ground with Kenneth Gainwell, the Running Back.
For consecutive weeks, Philadelphia’s defense has been a constant threat to the opposing quarterback. They have logged four sacks which makes the total of 13 for the unit over the past two seasons. Eagles edge-rusher Haason Reddy, who was signed to a three year, $45m deal this offseason, was sacked twice.
The Eagles are the only undefeated team left in the league, despite losing to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. They have a strong team with a high-powered offensive and a strong defensive front. This was evident on Sunday. This team should be ranked at the top of every media outlet’s power rankings heading into Week 5.
Josh Allen Escapes Baltimore in Battle Between MVP Caliber Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen led their respective 2-1 teams to a thrilling matchup. Despite not having their best game, neither quarterback was able to make the most of it. However, both signal-callers made some special plays that show why they are different than the rest.
Jackson and Allen had similar performances as ball-carriers, moving the chains with some misfires through air. Allen ran for 70 yards with a touchdown and Jackson accumulated 72 yards on the ground. Each of their clubs was leading in rushes, but Jackson made a mistake which allowed Buffalo to win.
Jackson tried to find Devin Duvernay, Bills wideout, at the Bills 2 yard line. But safety Jordan Poyer intercepted it to flip the field. Allen led his team deep into Ravens territory on the next drive. Tyler Bass kicked the game-winning field goals as regulation expired.
These quarterbacks will likely have better matches, although Jackson made too many errors that ultimately cost the Ravens Sunday.
Giants Will Go As Far as Saquon Barkley Takes ‘Em

The New York Giants may have a flawed team, but they are 3-1 and that’s all that matters to an opponent that can match last season’s win total in London.
Brian Daboll, head coach of the Giants, has definitely changed the atmosphere. They have won three slugfests and scored less than 21 points in each of them. With that being said, Saquon barkley, the running back, looks like the frontrunner to be named Comeback Player Of The Year in 2022.
Week 4, Barkley LedThe league had 408 scrimmage yards, before Tyreek Hills, Miami Dolphins wideout and receiver, racked-up 160 receiving yards against Cincinnati Bengals.
Sunday saw him accumulate 162 scrimmage yard (146 rushing, 16 receiving) and also took snaps from the Wildcat formation as quarterbacks Tyrod Taylor (concussion), and Daniel Jones (ankle), dealt with injuries. Big Blue still managed a field goal after that drive.
The Giants defense continues to be a force against its opponents, and Barkley-centric is their offense. This unit has not allowed more than 23 points to be given up in any game and has forced six turnovers. Don “Wink”Martindale’s group sacked Justin Fields, Chicago Bears’ quarterback, six times Sunday.
The Giants are quick to find ways to win, despite the fact that they lack style points. They have also found their identity as a run first team with a strong defense.
Jonathan Taylor Tests the Ankle of Colts Offense in Limbo

Taylor lost a fumble midway through the fourth period and then was forced to leave the contest due to an ankle injury. Taylor didn’t return on the field.
Three weeks in a row, Taylor was held by Colts opposition to a total of 71 rushing yards. He ran for 42 yards, a season-low, on Sunday before his early departure.
The 2021 rushing champion has struggled this year. However, Indianapolis would be without him in a Thursday match against the Denver Broncos’ top three defense in yards and points allowed.
Taylor’s ankle is still being tested. He’s doubtful for at least one week. The Colts can give Nyheim Hines more carries, but quarterback Matt Ryan would have to take the offense on his own in the absence his All-Pro ball carrier.
Raiders’ Run Game Leads to the Win Column

The Las Vegas Raiders had the lowest number of rushing attempts going into Week 4. They have a talented running backroom that includes Josh Jacobs, rookie fourth rounder Zamir White, Ameer Abdullah, and Brandon Bolden.
Josh McDaniels, Raiders head coach, and lead offensive play-caller was featured on Sunday with the ground attack. Jacobs rushed for 144 yard and two scores. White was able to move the chains late in the fourth quarter and set Jacobs up with the final score.
Overall, the Silver and Black racked up 212 rushing yards along with the two touchdowns on 38 carries against the Broncos’ sixth-ranked run defense that gave up 4.4 yards per carry (16th) going into this matchup.
Unlike the last couple of games, McDaniels didn’t fall in love with the passing attack at the expense of a viable rushing offense, and the game plan worked in the Raiders’ favor for their first win of the season.
Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Mack Hollins are all perimeter players of high quality.
McDaniels must continue with Hunter Renfrow (once Hunter returns from a concussion).

Packers’ Wide Receiver Team is Starting to Come Together

The Green Bay Packers didn’t just win the game with a comfortable lead on Sunday. They were in a close matchup with New England Patriots who had Bailey Zappe, a fourth round quarterback, in the lineup to replace Brian Hoyer.
Zappe, the third-string quarterback after Mac Jones (ankle), Hoyer (concussion), performed well given the circumstances. He completed 10-of-15 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. He also lost a fumble at Packers’ 22 yard line before halftime.
The Packers had just one touchdown in the previous two games before Sunday’s outing. Second halvesThere are many games. Wideout Romeo Doubs caught a touchdown pass of 13 yards against the Patriots with 6:14 remaining in regulation. He almost caught another one near the two minute mark, but he lost possession while going to ground.
Doubs has still scored in consecutive week. Allen Lazard, fifth-year wideout, caught six passes for 116 yard against the Patriots after back-to-back touchdown receptions. Christian Watson, a rookie second round wide receiver, scored his pro debut touchdown on Sunday.
You don’t need to look now, but Aaron Rodgers has a young receiving team that showed promise in a balanced attack. In a 27-24 victory, Rodgers threw 251 yards, two touchdowns, an interception, and threw for 251 yards. Green Bay recorded 35 rush attempts for 199 yard.
Key Broncos are unable to work after a loss to Raiders

The Denver Broncos fell to the Las Vegas Raiders in the first division matchup of the season. They’ll now wait for news about injuries to edge-rusher Randy Gregory or running back Javonte Wils.
Nathaniel Hackett, Head Coach a rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank” href=”https://twitter.com/Jeff_Legwold/status/1576722787162390529?s=20&t=IGI_SP1Xdxdcqt9JlQjk5Q”>told reporters that Gregory and Williams, the latter of whom had been carted to the locker room, will get MRIs for knee injuries. And per NFL Network’s IanRapoportWilliams is “feared to have suffered a serious knee injury.”
The Broncos could be forced to play against the Indianapolis Colts with no backups in a short week. This would be a huge blow to both the Broncos and Colts.
Gregory has recorded nine tackles over four weeks, including two for loss, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
With 204 yards, Williams leads the Broncos’ rush attack. After Williams’ departure as running back, Mike Boone, who played a larger role, dropped a pass on fourth down in the open field before the Raiders entered victory formation Sunday.
