Fans of Maroon 5 in Michigan will need to wait a bit longer to see them in their home state.

Is Maroon 5 coming in Michigan?

The band’s August 17th performance in Grand Rapids at Van Andel Arena was canceled.

There is no reason for cancellation at the moment, but ticketholders will receive information via email regarding refunds.

Maroon 5 Cancelled Their Grand Rapids Show at Van Andel

Fans who saw the band at Van Andel Arena in February 2013 awaited the show.

Adam Levine, lead singer of the show, was suffering laryngitis. He apologized for his performance to the crowd and promised to ‘come again soon’ to make it up West Michigan.

Maroon 5 canceled their tour?

The three-time Grammy-winning group was scheduled to tour on the 20th anniversary their debut album. “Songs About Jane”Released in 2002. Currently, no word on whether other shows on the tour are being canceled or if Grand Rapids was an exception.

After the band’s World Tour announcement, tickets went on sale in April. Due to the pandemic, the band had already cancelled their 2020 and 2021 tour dates. Their most recent Michigan tour stop was August 2021 at the DTE Energy Music Theatre.
