AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is attracting interest from Spain’s two biggest clubs, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of the Spanish newspaper AS (via MilanLive) explains that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are keen on Kessie, whose contract expires at the end of the season and he is seemingly no nearer to extending his deal.
Over the past few weeks, various sources have mentioned Barcelona’s interest. However, Real Madrid appear to be looking to replace Kessie and Casemiro.
Other clubs were also linked, including Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and PSG. The report also mentions Milan still hoping to extend his contract even though their offer has not been satisfactory.
“There is confusion around the renewal of Franck’s contract, I don’t think it can be compared to other negotiations. For an important player, a worthwhile contract is always necessary,”George Atangana, George’s agent, explained this (via DiarioMadridista).
