LAS VEGAS (AP) — A former doctor whose medical license was revoked in 2019 has been accused in Las Vegas of making a false terrorist threat against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Isaac Hearne (55), was arrested last week following a recorded phone call Dec. 13 from Hearne to church headquarters. He threatened to kill everyone inside the building.
Police stated that the church received prior calls from Hearne.
Witnesses said Hearne was a Reno eye doctor and a family member said Hearne was a former church member. “frustrated and angry”Donations made in the past were not refunded.

According to court records, Hearne was charged with felony terrorist offenses. Hearne appeared before a Las Vegas judge on Thursday. He ordered Hearne’s release from jail on high level electronic monitoring and ordered him away from Mormon churches.
