Claremore police investigate a non-lethal stabbing at a local dispensary – 102.3 KRMG

CLAREMORE, Okla. — Around 7 p.m. Monday, police responded to reports of a stabbing in the parking lot of Big Daddy’s Puffery, a dispensary on Historic Route 66 in Claremore.

An officer arrived at the scene and found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound to his leg. According to Claremore police Lt. Mark Book, the officer was capable of treating the wound with an epidermis until help arrived.

FOX23 was informed by Lt. Book that the victim was awake, alert, and speaking to officers at the scene. He was taken to Tulsa’s hospital for treatment.

According to Lt. Book, the stabbing was the result of an altercation in the parking lot of Big Daddy’s Puffery, and no dispensary employees were involved in the incident.

The scene is clear at the moment, but detectives continue to search for any information regarding a possible suspect.
