Burglary reported at GreenLight Dispensary in Ferguson

Five On Your Side was informed by the owners of GreenLight Dispensary that the thieves didn’t make it beyond the lobby.

FERGUSON, Mo. — A cannabis dispensary in Ferguson was broken into early Saturday morning. 

GreenLight Medical Marijuana DispensaryFerguson police confirmed that the burglary took place at 517 South Florissant Road just before 5:30 a.m. 

After the burglary, witnesses were seen cleaning up glass from the front doors of the dispensary.

Five On Your Side was informed by the owners of GreenLight Dispensary that the thieves didn’t make it beyond the lobby. 

They also claimed that no money or product were stolen. The building’s parking lot was found with display packets of marijuana and T-shirts featuring GreenLight’s logo.

Police were unable to confirm whether any suspects had been taken into police custody. 

In the St. Louis area, there have been a number of burglaries in recent weeks. At least four burglaries were reported in August at dispensaries near Hazelwood, St. Louis, and Festus.
