Producer of Black Adam says the movie will be big and fun with a lot of edge. Black Adam, directed by Jaume Colllet-Serra, is Dwayne Johnson’s first big-screen appearance as the anti-hero of DC Comics. Pierce Brosnan plays Dr. Aldis Hawkman as Fate, Sarah Shahi and Noah Centineo, who make up Justice Society of America, are also cast. The film will tell the story of Black Adam’s creation, down to his Egyptian roots.

Black Adam, one of the first to have the power to Shazam, would later be an arch nemesis for the current Shazam/Billy Batson. He was recently introduced into DCEU with 2019’s Shazam! Shazam!
