1 killed in shooting at Tarzana dispensary: LAPD

Police say one man was killed when he shot at a Tarzana dispensary of cannabis.

According to Officer Cruz from the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred at 12:30 p.m. in the 18000 block Ventura Boulevard.

Officers arrived to discover that the victim, a man thought to be in his thirties, was suffering from gunshot wounds inside the business. The Los Angeles Fire Department declared him dead on the spot.

No arrests have been made, and police say they’re looking for two men who they believe were involved.

Maria Harris, Tarzana resident, identified Brian Garcia, her son, as the victim. Brian Garcia was a regular customer to the dispensary.

Police have not released many details of Garcia’s death except to say that he was fatally shot during an armed robbery, Harris told KTLA.
